The first AORES was held on 18-20 October 2016 in Melbourne, Australia.
The main intention for arranging AORES was to foster collaboration and future planning of the Australian ocean renewable energy sector by bringing industry, researchers, and other stakeholders together to share information and ideas, and provide a global context by inviting international leaders in the field to deliver keynote presentations.
